My husband bought me a FoodSaver a couple of years ago. It’s great, but I don’t want to get it out for just 1 or 2 jars. I love that this jar sealer is compact, seals both regular and wide-mouth jars, and is highly portable. On the first day, I sealed 5 jars of salad. The salads stay fresh for over a week when vacuum sealed. A great value for your money.

I love everything in this kit because it makes my life easier, starting with the electric mason jar sealer. The instructions are very straightforward and quick to follow. The display on top of the sealer is easy to read and conveniently placed. The kit also includes two magnetic dry erase boards and a magnetic dry erase marker with an eraser, which is very handy as it can be kept right on the fridge. Additionally, there are 16 chalkboard stickers to label the mason jars after vacuum sealing, making it easy to keep track of the contents. The kit also comes with extra lids for both regular and wide-mouth jars, which is great since the sealer works with both sizes. These lids even have lines to write the name and date of the contents if you prefer not to use the chalkboard stickers. I especially appreciate the two magnetic dry erase boards because they help me remember important things; I keep one on the fridge and one on my front door. Overall, I am very pleased with this entire kit.
