I was excited to find these vacuum seal containers to preserve the freshness and quality of various foods. I have used bags and mason jars extensively but needed something with a larger opening. I purchased my first set in September 2023 and was so pleased that I bought 2 additional sets. They look great in the fridge and keep it very organized. However, I was disappointed to find that one of the large containers had shattered in the fridge. I initially thought it was a fluke, but when a second large container cracked, it became clear there is a design issue with the large containers. While the smaller containers work fine, the large ones crack or shatter when sealed. I hope someone at Vakuen addresses this problem.

My wife and I have been using these vacuum containers for over two months now and we absolutely LOVE them!! They keep our veggies, fruits, and other foods much fresher for longer, and we’ve noticed a significant reduction in food waste, which helps us save a lot of money in the long run!! While they are not the cheapest option as a premium alternative to Tupperware, you won’t realize what you’ve been missing if you’ve only ever used Tupperware. I also really appreciate the variety of sizes available. These containers are one of our favorite kitchen purchases in a long time!

The containers are made of good material and look durable. Today I stored all my fruits and vegetables in them. If they don’t perform well for vacuum storage, I’ll change my rating. I charged the sealing machine for about 2 hours; it has an indicator on top that blinked while charging and stopped automatically when fully charged. It’s very easy to operate, and the instructions are well explained.
